Elemental Ni Wheel may still be viable but, you definitely will struggle in holding hate. Retsu will start to show its age but is still a very good weaponskill to use for its additional paralyze effect.. We gained access to the elemental wheel for SAN. We lost arguably the best relic piece for ninjutsu elemental spells. To make Ninja viable again it needs a rework to how shadows work, update Ninjutsu enfeebles to make them worth casting, a huge boost to WSD and it'd be nice if it was worth it to bother casting a MB on a self SC.

Ninjutsu, does any use the elemental wheel? Pretty much as the title says. I'm trying to figure out if it's a good thing to invest in the Ninjutsu tools to use the elemental debuffs that ninja has, or if I should just get the enfeebling scrolls, and the buffs that the ninja has.. The Elemental Wheel is one of many things a Ninja can utilize to damage their opponents. This is the same as the elemental weakness wheel that is prevalent throughout the rest of Vana'diel. However, the ninjutsu have an additional 'debuff' element that works in such a way that if cast in the right order, it will create a weakness on the enemy, ready for the next spell to hit for greater.
