The Mego Flash Gordon line harkens back to the old school Flash Gordon, before he was a football player. Mego released four 12 inch figures, Ming the Merciless, Flash Gordon, Dr. Zharkov and Dale Arden.. Mego Flash Gordon The Mego Flash Gordon has a great sculpt and like all of the figures in this series he comes with oodles of accesories.

1977 Mego Flash Gordon doll series, all are articulated plastic bodied dolls; Dale Arden 9" tall, all these are 9 1/2" tall; Dr. Zarkov, Flash Gordon, Ming the Merciless.. The Mego Flash Gordon line was supposed to be the begining of the era of 10" figures. Sadly the other planned release in this format (Logans Run) were cancelled and Flash Gordon became the sole 10" releases in North America. Mego Doctor Who utilized the 10" format but only in Europe and Australia.
