While the Nintendo 64 never got a Metroid game, two fans are working on showing the world what a Metroid 64 could have looked like.. It's in no way, shape, or form a Metroid game, but Pseudoregalia is at least a Metroidvania game that was designed with the intent of invoking the N64 aesthetic, something it does masterfully. It looks and feels how you remember N64 games looking. For gameplay, though, it's unfortunately more Mario 64 than Metroid.
