Even though our culture will never go back to the bible’s view, this document is written to critique the logic of the winning and prevailing verdict.. Christ triumphed over sin and death by being physically resurrected, so that all who trust in him are raised to new life in this world and to everlasting life in the world to come.
The new city catechism is a part of this appeal.. That we will live with and enjoy god forever in the new heaven and the new earth where we will be forever freed from all sin in a renewed, restored creation.
