So i recently ran into some electrical trouble on my 89 YJ and in the process of determining and fixing the problem my step father an I found that both the haynes and chilton manuals use the same wiring diagrams and both include everything electrical from 87'-95'. not only that but its a pain having to flip through multiple pages to track a wire while shins deep in an engine bay. overall it.. YJ (88) Gauge Wiring Diagram.. I already replaced the Tempurature gauge so I am going to finish up with the rest and get the Autometer YJ Dash Pod from 4wd. Thanks for the diagram kloppk.. You need to simply follow the wiring FAQs with the diagrams and look at the step by step FAQ to get a better understanding of the wiring. The distr connects to the P and N terminals of the ignition module. The + and C connect to the + and - of the coil and 12v from the 3rd relay pin 87 connects to the + side of the coil..
