2x MPPTs = VE.CAN Multiplus = VE.BUS Assuming this is correct, I have 2 questions I hope someone can answer: Are the CAN and BUS connectors standard RJ-45? Will standard CAT6 cabling work for both types of connectors? The VE.CAN network is serial. Do I need terminators on both ends? Is there a wiring diagram of this, or do I need to buy.. The pinout of the RJ45 connectors on the VW3CANTAP2 junction box is as follows: Attached Below is both Images display the Pin out.
These two devices cannot be on the same CAN channel because they use different baud rates. You can easily build an RJ45 CAN Crossover cable to swap the CAN 1 and CAN 2 channel wiring for that CAN device/system. You can either permanently modify one of the device's RJ45 cable, or create a CAN Crossover cable adapter.. The AUX. CAN bus is not supplying any power to the CAN bus. RJ45 Connector Typical cables that are used for the RJ45 CAN bus connections are standard CAT 5 Ethernet network patch cables. RJ45 pinout (T-568B): Always use standard prefabricated Ethernet network patch cables (straight).
