As you've identified the 749/999 uses a 3 wire coil. With the connector on the coil facing you, Left = ECU Trigger, middle = -ve, right = +12v from relay. Having looked at the wiring diagram for the 748 the 2 wires for the coil are +12v from relay and ECU trigger.. Thank you I'll get it blown up Monday & start figuring this thing out.
