Les Paul Style Switch Harness and Jack Final Wiring O B Both N and B selector switch wire shields should be soldered to the volume pot bodies (along with the outer shields of the pickup wires).. This picture below shows the central ground for the entire electrical circuit in a Les Paul, ES, and probably any other Gibson multi-pickup electric from that era.
