19 Inspirational Mallory Distributor Wiring Diagram

Get a Billet or Pro-Billet MSD series distributor. You can use the Mallory because the box should wire up to anything but it is always good to stay with one brand in a certain area. If the Mallory is a points unit, it will work with the ignition box but yuo will always be adjusting the dwell.. Just want someone to review the wiring in this diagram that was given to me and tell me if the diagram looks good to you. As you can see we want to use the MSD distributor that we currently have with the Mallory Ignition Box shown in the diagram. If you feel corrections need to be made, let me know. Yes. I use a Msd crank trigger with a mallory box and before the crank trigger I had a Msd pro billet distributor hooked to the Mallory box. The instructions for my box had a diagram and chart on wire colors.. Both MSD and Mallory have wiring diagrams and manuals on their respective web sites that can help. Be sure to solder all connections, use weather pack type connectors where you have to have them and run an alternator if you are drag racing this setup.. The black goes to ground. The smaller red wire goes to the ignition switch to tell the MSD.
