hi there, the coil is a range rover v8 12v type. I dont think the dizzy is electronic as cant see an ignition amp anywhere, but as you can tell wiring isnt my strong point.. Re: Rover 3.5 V8 firing order and distributor wiring Thee engines are sensitive to tracking, so try to get the routing of the leads as per the diagram to avoid issues if the leads are not 100% good. You can do a quick check by starting and running the engine in a closed garage or after dark where tracking will be easily visible.

Looking at wiring diagrams it seems as simple as running the two wire from the ignition amplifier on the Dizzy to either side of the coil?
