I recently got a Ferguson TO30 with the Sherman gear and have started rebuilding it. I bought the 12 volt conversion kit for it and it's time to start rewriting it. Does anyone have a complete wiring diagram for this? Also I bought a conversion kit with a resistor does this take place of the voltage regulator or do I need a new 12v one?. Hi John. My alternator is 2 wire, but I have a voltmeter instead of ampmeter. alternator checks ok but tractor is apparently wired wrong.Old chevy regulator is in circuit but may not be needed.
