Customer: Hi, Just purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot and want to be able to plug in my iPod and/or iPhone through an aux cable. The stereo has an AUX button, but no AUX imput jack. I was told by the salesman when test driving the car that a cable could be connected to the back of the stereo and run out through the glove box, but after purchasing the car the service department at the dealership says.. To use the aux input in your Honda Pilot, simply connect a compatible audio device, such as a smartphone or MP3 player, to the aux input port located on the center console or dashboard of your vehicle. Use a 3.5mm audio cable to establish the connection between the audio device and the aux input port. Once connected, select the aux input source on your vehicle's audio system to begin playing.
Hi, I don't know about an 07 Pilot, but my 06 Odyssey EX-L did have RCA left/right audio input jacks and two 3.5mm audio out jacks in the 3rd row driver's side armrest/storage bin.. One of my buddies had an 06 Accord and he had the same thing. I have a 2006 Pilot with a button for an Aux input, but it does not have an Aux jack anywhere. Reviewed lots of posts here and elsewhere. GTA Car Kit for Honda Pilot 2006, 2007 and 2008 is all you need to integrate your smartphone, tablet or mp3 player with your stock car stereo.
