I have a 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia and I keep getting this signal of service electronic throttle control. I was wondering is there a solution to this ?. Especially if it hasn't been changed since 2017 or 2016 since that's probably when it was manufactured. If a new battery doesn't fix it then it would warrant a trip to the dealer.. I have an Alfa Romeo Giulia 2018 2.0 Ti; the car just shipped to me from the US two days ago. Within 1-2 minutes after I started the engine, the car showed service and service electronic throttle control checks, and it couldn't run normally. I connected it to the computer, and it showed me that there was a problem with the thermostat.. A few days back I got the Service electronic throttle control warning and start/stop unavailable as well. This is 2018 base AR Giulia with ~16k only. Not driven as much in the last 18 months. I have been reading the various post and many pointed to possible battery issues since mine is still on the original battery.
