ARRI has sent out a service notification warning about the use of older Lexar 3600x Professional CFast 2.0 cards. A CFast 2.0 card stops working after it.. we have to take back our recommendation to use Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 cards for recording in ARRI cameras. The cards will continue to work in our cameras, but we cannot.. Canon has replaced a card and a reader, but problem still there. Canon mentioned Japan has noticed this issue, and most likely in caused by the card & reader. They are trying to figure out the solution. I noticed that computer load the CFast card as external drive. And MAC writes some hidden files to the CFast whenever plugged in the reader.
The camera will stop recording after a few seconds and an exclamation point icon appears on the record button. This happen to us while recording to CFast with official AngelBird BMD cards, as well as swapping to the SSD recorder - the same result in all scenarios. Any help is appreciated!. A CFast 2.0 card stops working after it was used for recording, making the recorded footage inaccessible.. Many customers have been using the Lexar 3600x CFast 2.0 cards for years without experiencing any problems. In fact, only a few users have experienced the aforementioned issue. Therefore, it would be premature to replace every card.
