The JS-3 Rapture is one of a series of high performance gliders built in South Africa by Jonker Sailplanes the first model being the JS-1, the prototype of which flew for the first time on 12 December 2006 and the company immediately became known as a builder of world-class sailplanes. Development of the series continued and subsequently ten years later the JS-3 with a jet sustainer engine was.. JS3 Jet with 15 and 18 Meter tips ($25,000 trailer included). Only 3 years old. Always hangared, including the trailer. I don't compete and have a JS3 RES coming in a few months (I would rather have a self launcher than the ability to fly with a low wing loading). I spared no expense and have bug wipers (a must in this performance/price range) as well as the Butterfly Vario, nose and CG hook.
