[Sold]Soundstream Reference 405 5channel. Old Skool! Car Audio

Soundstream Reference 405 The original reference car audio amplifier, unbeaten for SQ, the circuit design and layout is a work of art.The Darlington output devices are configured in pairs to create that distinctive Soundstream tube like sound.. The 405 schematic does not show sub rail voltage. but the 705S shows +-38 and +-28 depending on the current switch setting.

ive had problems with my soundstream reference 405 amp, so far its burnt 2 old school soundstream spl 10 subwoofers, one classic kicker subwoofer, and one mtx subwoofer, and to mention it almost burnt my blaupunkt 12 inch velocity subwoofer. its also burnt my original dvc german mbquart speakers (channels 3&4) and i'm sick of it!. Well I just bought a Soundstrean Reference 405 and a Soundstream Rubicon 550-5. I always wanted a Soundstream amp. I have looked at the specs for the Soundstream site already. It seems that the Rubicon 550-5 is spec'd out with just a little higher wattage. 4 x40@ 4 ohms. Sub 1 x 250 @ 2ohms.
