During my shopping processes I discovered the 10 inch Yamaha that measures relatively smaller than others of the same class. It offers more than enough performance for our TV viewing. We have the volume control set at less than 50% so as not to.. SW216 is a decent sub. I've heard it many times in Best Buy and even in that environment it goes pretty low. The only real problem I have with it is the non-removable grille cover, but that's just me. I was gonna buy one until I settled on an eBay-found Yamaha NS-W1, the first sub Yamaha ever made IIRC. $90 is a good price; BB wants $120.:yes:
