Andy and Barney help weary, footsore salesman Bert Miller set up his goods on a vacant lot. A traveling salesman, Bert Miller, is getting tired of traveling. So partially to help Bert and partially to irritate Ben Weaver, the local department store owner, Andy and Barney concoct to help Bert set up a small general goods shop on a vacant lot. With every complaint Ben gives, Andy and Barney help.. Bert Miller is an old friend to Andy and Barney, who travels into Mayberry. He is a weary, foot sore salesman who sets up his goods on a vacant lot, only to get hassled by Ben Weaver. Andy eventually fixes it so that Bert can work for Ben making good money in the process.
