Definitely not overrated and arguably the greatest trilogy of all time, but I'm not as in love with ROTK as most are. The ending, starting with the ghost army showing up and the battle just ending, lost me from there. The Two Towers is my favorite and the one I return to the most.. The plot holes, broken battle logic, and three-hour drag that keep Lord of the Rings off my list of the best movies ever. A blunt, scene-by-scene takedown.
