How do I address a stuck or dead pixel on my MacBook screen? I've noticed a small black spot on my MacBook screen. At first, I thought it was an insect, but it's not moving and seems to be under the screen or inside the panel. It's not something I can wipe off. I've attached a photo for reference. • this is stuck or dead pixel?. Bring your Mac to an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You'll void your warranty by trying to fix the dead pixels on your MacBook Pro yourself or tampering with its screen.
Brought my m2 macbook pro 14 to the Apple Store twice, they had multiple technicians, and they couldn't find the stuck / dead pixel. I also put an indicator (an icon in the background) to help them locate the stuck pixel yet they still couldn't find it.. Find out whether you have a stuck pixel and check for any possible fix to restore your screen.
