(1") shank button features a profile of British Prime Minister William Pitt surrounded by the words "No Stamp Act 1766," with his last name below the portrait.. 1/2" (16mm). Brass w/original shank. Portrait of British Prime Minister William Pitt w/text encircling "No Stamp Act 1766." Pitt was instrumental in the repeal of the act and was considered a friend of the colonies.
