Price range wise, the Baratza 30 is looking pretty good. I'm wondering if the additional fine tuning offered on the Sette 270 makes it worth it. I'd probably wait for Baratza to restock refurbished 270s, but if I went for the Sette 30 I could buy it new. My understanding is that the Sette 30 is a good beginner machine.. The Baratza ESP seems to be decent, but it only really has a push button without any semi-automatic like the SGP. Somehow it seems the Sette 30 is not a good for dialing based on reviews and the next logical step would only be the Sette 270.
